Dream Kick was one of the most outrageous and wildest hard rock bands to hit the Maritime/New Brunswick club scene in the early 1990's. The band's musical influences and background tastes ranged from punk rock to jazz while their personalities were as different as a hooker is to a skateboard.

Even though as people they were considered complete strangers, as a group, their personalities and musical goals locked together when they hit the stage.

After Leaving Dream Kick, Pete moved to Toronto to pursue a lifestyle of Rock N' Roll and dirty strippers - things soon became ugly during this shortcut to self destruction. In 1994, Pete joined a shock rock band called Dead By Dawn who constantly toured the Canada/U.S. club circuit. Pete appeared on the Jenny Jones show in Sep '95, released 2 studio albums under the label DFR Records then later quit the band after a show in Buffalo, New York and moved back to New Brunswick due to health (drug) problems.

Pete has been alcohol, powder and Ouija board free since June 21th, 1998 and now operates his own web site development business simply called "petergillies.com".

After leaving Dream Kick, Shawn played in various bands before moving to Halifax to pursue a career in advertising. Now using his creative energy mostly for TV commercials, he’s dividing his time between work and family, occasionally picking up the guitar or banging on a kit to make sure he can still play. Apparently he still can, but does most of it in is wreck room. Nobody really knows for sure...
